John,
I believe the 1 inch heavy lines with the closer light lines would prove
beneficial to those using tactile graph paper. This would provide easy
navigation to specific areas and then allow the user to graph with more
detail if needed.

Subject: [Blindmath] Tactile graph paper
Hello listers. There has been some discussion of tactile graph paper on the
list recently. As a service to users, ViewPlus has decided to create
several Word files that can be printed on a ViewPlus embosser to make
tactile graph paper. These will be put in the downloads section of the
ViewPlus web site. My purpose in this note is to ask your opinion on what
types would be useful. For example,
*1 cm divisions with light lines,
*1 inch divisions with light lines,
*1 inch divisions with heavy lines plus closer spaced light lines.
Please tell me what you'd find useful.
