[Blindmath] Mathematical document accessibility

Hi,
My instructor composed her math assignment using LaTeX then saved the file
in PDF extension. After that, she e-mailed me the PDF file containing the
assignment produced in LaTeX. After installing Adobe Reader 9, I was able to
open the file and read it; the file was of fair quality, though some of the
symbols were difficult to understand. When i resaved the PDF file on my
computer and reopened it, the document become more readable.
Adobe Systems did say that if properly tagged, their PDF document creation
and access is almost fully accessible. But I occasionally struggle to
navigate up and down with either JAWS or WindowEyes.
