  No!  The proper Latin plural of Elvis would be Elves, just like elf.  And 
that of Lexis would be Lexes.  These would be third-declension nouns, not 
second-declension like campus and alumnus.

  To follow the pattern of mouse, the singular form of rice must be rouse!
