[Blindmath] Performing Linear Regressions with Excel

In my current math course, I am being asked to create scattergrams of data 
and then perform linear regression, that is, add a line of best fit, to the 
data and get an equasion. Since I don't have an audio graphing calculator on 
my computer, I thought it would be good to try it with Excel. I was told 
that Excel could do what I need, but am not sure how to make it happen.

I am running Excel 2003. If anyone out there can give me the steps for 
performing linear regression with Excel, I'd really appreciate your help.
