In order to do this, you will need a LaTeX implementation. Most often,
it comes as part of a general TeX implementation, which makes sense
considering LaTeX is basically just a large set of macro's for TeX. The
two common implementations that I know of are texlive and TeTex. Once
you get one of these, use the pdflatex program to generate a pdf file.
Some implementations have a GUI and menu options you can use to do this
as well.
