Hi Iqbal.  There are quite a few blind people who have studied science and
engineering, although the number is far below what it should be.  There are
several senior blind technical people on this list and a number of blind
students studying science or engineering.

It takes a great deal of determination, but it has been done.  In particular
there are quite a number of highly successful, and very well paid, computer
software developers in the world.  And there are a few engineers of other
kinds, a few blind architects, etc.
