After getting IT/Matt to debug/troubleshoot, we have the same issue, where:
JAWS will not read greek symbols, e.g. rho and alph or minuses
NVDA will not read any of the formulae or symbols.
Please find 5 page test sample XML containing MathML here: http://goo.gl/XdKCu
Windows 7 x86, Internet Explorer 8, and MathPlayer 2.2
JAWS 12
o ρ=0
Rho greek symbol isn’t reading
H1:ρ>0 or H1:ρ<0 or H1:ρ≠0
Rho greek symbol isn’t reading at all
t=n−21−r2 with d.f=n−2
not reading minuses
(n≥3)
Not reading greater than or equal to correctly, just equal to
H0:ρ=0.
Not reading rho
n≥
not reading greater than/equal to
t=n−21−r2
not reading minuses
NVDA 2012.1
Not reading any of the symbols/formulae, only text
