[Blindmath] JMP accessibility

Thank you Jonathan. That was what I was hoping to know. I realize
that the command line is a useful way to access such software. The
problem with that is having to learn a scripting language for each
software. One of the main advantages JMP has is that it's a very
point and click method of doing statistics. I realize, as a blind
student, that wouldn't be useful to me, but even having menus that I
could look through would decrease the syntax that I'd have to learn to
get something useful from the software. That, however, is apparently
not the case with JMP since it seems to be inaccessible.

Sarah, thank you for your comments. I wasn't claiming that R is
not used in industry. I just feel that familiarity with a number of
softwares will benefit me more, especially when looking for a job. It
wasn't my instructors insistance that I look at other programs, but
instead it was my desire to diversify. I'll probably end up using R
because it's free, I'm familiar with it and it's what works for the
blind. Jonathan, I'll check out some of the other softwares you've
suggested and I thank you for your list.

Sincerely,
   Ryan
