[Blindmath] Extracting bitmap images from pdf files

Can somebody explain what a touchpad is?
I'm thinking of touch screen, and getting hung up I think.
Can anybody enlighten me?

Wow - Now I finally understand how the touchpad and embosser work
together to enable greater functionality.
