[Blindmath] Putting SVGDraw images, vOICe audio, and LaTeX content in Wordpress: Am I asking the impossible?

In the meantime, I found the following information about a WordPress plugin
at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/svg
====================================
Scalable Vector Graphics
(SVG)<http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/scalable-vector-graphics-svg/>SVG
files are two-dimensional vector graphics, that can be both static and
dynamic. This plugin allows your to easily use them on your site.
====================================

This may eliminate the need to convert the svg files to bitmap files.

If you do need to convert the svg files to bitmap files, there are online
converters that will do the job such as the one at
http://www.fileformat.info/convert/image/svg2raster.htm.

If you prefer to make the conversion locally, there are at least two ways
to do it. One is probably more accessible than the other.

Perhaps the easiest way is to download and install InkScape, which is a
free SVG drawing program. While InkScape is probably not accessible to a
blind person for drawing, it may be accessible for file conversion. Simply

1. Open the svg file in InkScape
2. Pull down the File menu
3. Select SaveAs
4. Navigate to the "Save as type" list box
5. Select "Cairo PNG (*.png)"
6. Navigate to the "File name" box and enter the file name. (Note that
there is also a "Save in" box that allows you to specify the folder in
which to save the file.)
7. Press the Save button

The other way is to open the svg file in Firefox, IE9, or Google Chrome.
Then take a screen shot and crop it using any of many available free image
processing programs. The need to crop the image probably makes it
impossible for a blind person to use this approach.
