[Blindmath] Graphing Calculators

In addition to the new Orion calculator which I am very excited about, the
high school Math Department chair told me that TI released an IPAD ap for
the TI 84. If you are a low vision person - it is worth checking out to see
if it is functional enough for you. She said it is $30 and was released in
January, recalled and then rereleased. She said she would allow it on my
high school student's standardized tests. I am most excited about the new
Orion Graphing Calculator - however just thought I would mention this.

Hollow,
Are their any graphing calculators that are accessable to the blind?

hey! yes, there are. I have used Audio Graphing Calculator from ViewPlus for
some graphing in past math classes, you can get that in trial mode or as a
full license. My school had purchased it for me a while back.

PS. call me.

Respected sir, it would be very best if you provide the audio or text
demonstration regarding working with audiographing calculator. I have tried
a lot, but couldn't use. We have to deal with graph, Thanks in advance!

In addition to the Audio Graphing Calculator from ViewPlus Technologies,
which I give trainings on, APH and Orbit Research unveiled the new Orion
TI-84+ Talking Graphing Calculator at the recent CSUN Conference in San
Diego. This new calculator is being field tested at present, and it will be
available for purchase from APH with federal quota money in time for the
2013-2013 school year. Read all about it at:

I have seen this new Calculator that is coming out and if you can hold off
until it is on the market it is well worth the wait. As a math instructor I
have been frustrated by the lack of functionality that was available
considering what the students were required to do in the classroom at the
college level. This new calculator will have ALL the functionality of the
current TI-84+. It will finally level the playing field for Blind/VI
students. It is AWESOME!!
