[Blindmath] Math and pdf

Hi all,
   I'm Dzhovani and this fall I will take a calculus course at my 
university. Unfortunately, braille textbook is not available, so the 
publisher offered me a pdf file with the textbook which they called 
"accessible". However, when I opened the file, while the text was 
readable, the math formulas were presented just as blank spaces.
   Does anybody have an idea how I can access the math parts of the 
document?
   I'm using Windows 7 with Jaws13 and NVDA.
