Hello everyone,
I am experimenting with the trial version of the infty reader v3.0.4. The
conversion for instance from pdf to latex works fine, with its own little
mistakes; however, there is something I couldn't really get working.
There is a feature called infty layout viewer. In my understanding this
analyses the file before conversion and we can also manually set what is a
text, image, table, etc type of area, hence increasing the accuracy.
The problem is that when the .lif file (layout information file ) is created
and opened with the viewer, only some empty coloured boxes are shown and not
much can be done. any experiences with this?
The conversions are fairly good ont he samples I tried but I noticed big
troubles in recognising matrices, arrays and tables. What is the general
experience with these. Is this working better with the full version, the
Fine Reader plug in and perhaps the layout viewer? Or this is something the
reader can not handle yet so well?
Many thanks,
Daniel
