[Blindmath] Math Computer Program

Amanda,
I share your aversion! I understand why so much development happens for
Windows first, but I also look forward to the time they become available
on other platforms. I'm a Linux user now and have finally gotten an
iPad. I plan to get back to school at some point, when I can get what I
consider the right accessibility package. If I need to get a Windows
computer to run the software and hardware, then it won't kill me. It
will just make me grumble. /smile/ I'll be one of those post-50 women
finally getting back to the math degree, so it will be a vanity degree
without involving VR or more disability services than I can avoid! I
think for younger students with a career in view as a result of their
degree, it's a whole different ballgame. Things are really coming along
and branching out beyond Windows, but for those who use Mac or Linux, it
must be frustrating.
