[Blindmath] Suggestions on portable monitor to connect to BrailleNote?

Gabriela,

The BrailleNote and BrailleSense Note takers have VGA ports and will work with any VGA monitor.

HumanWare, the maker of the BrailleNote sells a small 7 or 8 inch monitor for a few hundred dollars, but we typically just use one of the older dell monitors we have laying around.

We have had a number of students use these in math courses. It's a great way to share Nemeth answers with the instructor.

As this isn't exactly math related, please feel free to reply to me off list if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Jon

Subject: [Blindmath] Suggestions on portable monitor to connect to BrailleNote?

Hi all,
We want to purchase a portable monitor that a student can connect his
BrailleNote to, allowing professors, tutors and peers to view what he's
reading. Does anyone do this and have suggestions of particular models?

thanks,

Gabriela
