[Blindmath] Stata

Hello,

As author of the second link and knowing that it points to the first link offered, I can tell you that there is little to be read there that isn't already known to Shickeytha. I would have to say that the knowledge on my pages re Stata is probably out of date with respect to the best ways of working with it when using a screen reader. (Well I hope it is as that would indicate improvement in its accessibility.) <smiles>

My problem with updating any review is that Stata has a hefty licence fee and there was no demo version available when Theodor Loots and I wrote our statistical software review for the Journal of Statistical Software (volume 58, July 2014) - a link is on the r resources page http://r-resources.massey.ac.nz/StatSoftware/ mentioned in this thread already.

I haven't tried to find a command line method for batch processing commands in Stata either, but I am sure one exists.

Jonathan
