The CUNY Accessibility Conference Committee, in conjunction with the Council on Student Disability Issues (COSDI), is pleased to invite you to the 7th Annual CUNY Accessibility Conference, to be held on May 6, 2016 at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (524 West 59th Street, New York, NY 10019). The conference will bring together CUNY professionals and other leaders in the field of higher education disability services to share information, network, and receive training that will enhance their knowledge and skills.
With the theme of Accessibility: A Tool for Social Justice, this year's Conference will focus on how accessible educational environments can serve to advance inclusion and social justice. Presentations will address emerging trends and advances in the field of accessibility as well as new uses for assistive technologies like video captioning and 3D printing.
Breakfast and conference registration will begin at 8:00 am in the Main Dining Hall, on the second floor of John Jay's New Building. Attendance is free, but advanced registration is required. In anticipation of record attendance this year, we recommend that attendees register as early as possible.
