Hi Anna,
I've used this product. You are correct; It is a magnet board with numbers and symbols (One kit is for geometry, another kit's for division and multiplication).
The little pieces are in nemeth braille so a student can use the symbols to demonstrate his/her knowledge or solve a problem.
Great kit.
It also teaches the strategy of keeping an organization system. In short, all those little symbol pieces are only useful if the student can find what they need when they need it. So we actually used the back of a cookie sheet to set up a system for keeping the symbols sorted and categorized.
My low vision students use the kit that is in LP while my braille users used the brailled kit (which has print for non-braille readers to see their work).
It was super for tests or for practice.

Has anyone ever used this product called Math Window? I think it's a magnetic board that comes with numbers and maybe some symbols. Is anyone familiar with this?
