[Blindmath] [Acbs-l] using Braille for math

Hi, just to add with another experience of someone who went up to calculus
and beyond somewhat recently.
though I know plenty of people who learned Nemeth, the people that studied
it in college did most if not all of their math aurally through either a
computer, recording, or human. Besides tex, there's ascii math. The only
issue with Math ML is it in't meant to be human readable so hence it cannot
easily be written by humans either.
I did most of my informal math scratch work in ascii math. This included
linear, abstract algebra and real analysis. Only for assignments did I
write out tex. This helped a lot further down the line because programming
is very much like writing out ascii math both in terms of logic and actual
computation.
Keeping with the aural theme, I did most of my textbooks through humans.
This meant either OCR'Ed books which humans corrected or Learning Ally
recordings. The latter contains a lot of college level texts.
Learning things piecemeal online is fine sometimes, but to feel really
grounded in a topic, I find it much better to read a good textbook.
There are other ways to read tex btw. You can read it using some tools in
linux though the setup is horrible. This is one of the missing gaps since
Math Player is geared narrowly.
In summary, though learning braille is great, for math, it's just not
practical especially if you're going to code anyway.
