        Hi Daniel,

Basically,stay away from Matlab for Windows.  Not only is the article you 
referred to old, some of the components it mentions for the 2012 fix are no 
longer available.  Current Matlab for Windows is inaccessible.  I'm 
currently testing Octave for Windows 64-bit systems, on a high-end HP 
machine with Windows 10.  I expect to have  more to report in a day or so.
