Brandon,

Yes, you can emboss LaTEX into braille using Microsoft  word,

you first need to convert the document you want to emboss, and also
make sure that it's not a big document. this is because the view plus
embosser cannot emboss big LaTEX files. I had a similar issue to you,
and I managed to get the tech support specialists from view plus to
sort it out.

Also regarding Nemeth, yes, you can emboss Nemeth into braille using
the viewplus embraille embosser that is if you already have one.
