A combination of Word 2016, MathType 6.9 and whatever the current
version of MathPlayer is will allow you to write equations in LaTeX in
Word and then convert them to regular-looking equations. They will be
readable with NVDA and MathPlayer. Older versions of Word and Equation
Editor will not work.---Doug Miron

We have tried the equation editor in Microsoft word with no success as well as the equation editor, Math ML. We also tried using MathPlayer but couldn't seem to get it to work.
