[BlindMath] Two More Questions about LaTex

As to item 1, the package may already be installed. If not, you can run the MikTeX package management software to install it. I'm not in front of a Windows machine just now, and I can't remember the details, but they should be easy to find on the MikTeX web site.
As to item 2, "fi" is generally a ligature in typeset print. It won't cause a new line in the output, but it may appear that way if you're using PDF software with a screen reader to review it, and that font isn't handled correctly.

Hello, everyone.
I finally conquered a simple document using TexWorks - LaTex. I do
have two more questions:
1) Can anyone tell me where the folder is that holds the packages
already in my TexWorks (MykTex). I am trying to see if I have the
"AMSMath" package already there.
2) When I type my literary document (really a paragraph - smile), if I
have a word like "first" or "outfit", directly after the "fi", it
gives me a "return". Everything after the "fi" goes to another line,
as if I hit the return button. Is this a command? How can I get around
this?
I am slowly familiarizing myself with this, and I love it. It will be
very helpful in my upcoming precalculus. Thanks oogles and googles!
