[BlindMath] basic talking calculator

My son has used the first calculator by Reizen on this Maxiaids catalog page
and been happy with it. Here is the link.
https://www.maxiaids.com/10-digit-talking-calculator-earphone-talking-alarm
He used it for an Economics college class this summer and all through high
school when he was not allowed to use a scientific or graphing calculator.
We have had ours for 10 or 15 years and works like a champ. There are a
few other models on this page to choose from. I have no experience with the
Scientific ones on the page as my son always used the APH ones and was happy
with them. There is another vendor, LS&S, that sells low vision products
also. I am down on LS&S at the moment because I bought a talking watch from
them that does not work and it was made overseas and discontinued and
personally I am trying to buy branded items so I can get technical support
if I need it. My advice is to not buy the Maxiaids or LS&S models for that
reason. If you need help and don't know who made it you are out of luck.
Here is a link to an Amazon page where there are several different kinds.
My son also likes the ones by Magnifying Aids.
https://www.maxiaids.com/10-digit-talking-calculator-earphone-talking-alarm
He had both and it's really a personal preference for the size and shape of
the calculator and trial and error for the voice. Good luck!

Jeanette Wicker and I are the project leaders at APH for the Orion TI-84
Plus Talking Graphing Calculator and the Orion TI-30XS MultiView Talking
Scientific Calculator. We need your help. APH is exploring the use of
calculators in STEM classes. Can you please take a few minutes to complete
this short (5 questions) survey on the use of calculators?

If you know of others who might help us with this survey, please share with
them.

Thanks for your help,

Ken and Jeanette

Hello,
I am not allowed to take with me to the exam a Calculator which has
financial and statistics functions. That?s why I am looking for just a basic
regular talking calculator.
Thanks,
