Good morning, we worked closely with Doug Hacker at Pearson when our student took a math course. Mr. Hacker is the Product Manager of Accessibility Support. douglas.hacker at pearson.com He can be of assistance if you need experience barriers with their products. For homeworks: their recommendation would be to have the professor create the assignments and then print them to a PDF document. The PDF doc could then be sent out to be brailled. For the textbook, the student request braille format so I am not familiar with the ebook accessibility features with JAW/NVDA.
Here is the information I received from Pearson:

Hi Zack!
Unfortunently, I don't know what they are doing to fix the problem. I don't even know if they know how to fix the problem. However, I would like to look for the best ways to improve accessibility such as getting their books that are on line to work with NVDA and not just JAWS 2019 for example. If they get back to you, go ahead and pass my Email along with them so that we can work together to get their books accessible across all screen reader platforms, particularly if they are not accessible across them. I have JAWS 2018 and NVDA on my computer. I would need all of their books to cover JAWS and NVDA in order to work with them on my computer. Since Math is the big subject where I'm having the worst trouble with accessibility and particularly most probomatic is matereals arriving on time, I, along with all other blind students who use both screen readers and braille need top notch accessibility across the platforms, not just one because the diversity is so wide that you can't just stick a bunch of books accessible to JAWS when half of the blind students use NVDA for example.
Thank you for taking the time to read this Email!
Blessed be!!!

Hello Kendra,
What is your disability office doing about this matter?
I have a contact at Pearson I asked to reach out to you regarding the accessibility of Pearson products. If she gets back to me would you like for me to pass your information along?
Regards,
Zac

Hi all!
I have to take five math classes for my climatology studies. I'm looking for ways to make math more efficent and of course, maintain or improve the accessability to the content of my math classes. Part of that quest envolves My Math Lab and textbooks produced by Pierson Publishing. Does anyone know if their books are accessible and if not, does any one have ways to make them accessible electronically?
Thank you for taking the time to read this E Mail!
Blessed be!!!
