[BlindMath] Getting Precalc Notes

You might take a look at infty reader, http://www.inftyreader.org/
However, if you can have a friend write the notes for you, or even convince
the notetaker to take notes in digital format that's going to help. Trying
to OCR math ends up causing problems, because suddenly i in your sumations
become l or 1, and bad things like that. There are often cases in fields
like stats where the difference between x and X means everything, and a
failed recognition will literally make understanding the math impossible.
As you get into higher level math this becomes even a bigger problem. If
mathtype is still around, your notetaker can use mathtype. If worst comes
to worst, your notetaker can just use the modern equation editor in word or
google docs, and we can figure out how to help you read those. Both
programs can present them, to screen readers, annd I had to use them both
for certain tasks in school, because I had classes where mathtype wasn't
something the student wanted to use. It's not easy or pleasant to use the
built in word math editor, because you either need to use narrator or NVDA
with experimental UIA support. Using docs isn't much better because the
equations reading doesn't support braille.
