[BlindMath] Accessible Math formulas in Blackboard

Hi Derek,

We usually provide blind students their Math textbooks and class materials, assignments, exams etc. in Braille, if they are Braille users. If not, they would use the material from within Blackboard. For some reason, when the eLearning designer creates the formulas using MathML, the system hangs when I try to access the MathML with Jaws, so, if the formulas I provided below read well, I think this is the way we are going to go.

Thanks for your feedback.

Russell

It's better than nothing, but can it do mathml? Not having math in braille is a huge disadvantage.
