[BlindMath] ? about teaching students TeX

When I first started typesetting mathematics, I used asciiMath, which is a slightly scaled down markup language. I imagine this would be suitable for most high school students. I was around fifteen at the time.
See also the recent thread on this list regarding markdown.

All the best,
Robin

I can't really comment on teaching but I found the natural correspondence between TeX maths and braille maths made TeX quite easy to learn.

Since MathType can easily translate TeX into MathML, I am considering teaching them the basics of writing math in TeX so all their work could be read in Nemeth on a braille display.
