The most resource that comes to my mind for anyone wishing to learn
LaTeX is Dr. Talbot's online book, "Learn LaTeX from Novide" which you
can get from this site:  https://www.dickimaw-books.com/latex/novices/


It has its follow-up on writing a Ph.D. thesis using LaTeX.
