Niels,
I haven't tried this particular scenario yet, though was involved in a user
study at Microsoft on the design of this extension.
Microsoft have developed an extension, Code Walk, for Visual Studio Code
that provides real time accessible feedback when editing source code
collaboratively. Perhaps you could use it when editing a TeX document?

Subject: [BlindMath] digital collaborative learning applications
Hello,
I have a question:
Are there accessible programs or web applications that can be used in
distance learning?
Most "virtual whiteboards" and other digital collaborative learning
applications are not very well suited for blind users with screen readers.
I would be very happy to hear about ideas and experiences!
Kind Regards
Niels
