[BlindMath] literature management programs

Hello Niels,

Given your previous questions about using LaTeX, I'm wondering why you aren't' wanting to know more about saving files that can be used with that way of working.

As an avid LaTeX user in the past, and still relying on the same way of saving references, I make or downloaded the bibtex file for each paper I read or downloaded. I always grab the reference in this fashion because it now includes the URL to get back to most publications I read.

I keep my bibtex files for each publication separate. Copying and pasting a reference to a reference file is simple to do if I already have the files for each article stored with the articles themselves.

As these are all just text files, they are easily read. What I have noticed is that I need to explicitly check that a reference I download is formatted properly such as making sure things aren't in all capital letters.

All the best,
Jonathan

Subject: [BlindMath] liiterature management programs

Hello,

do you use liiterature management programs for the preparation of papers? Programs like Endnote, Citavi or Zutero?

How accessible are Endnote, Citavi and Zutero?

I have heard that these programs cannot be used with screen readers like JAWS or NVDA.

How do you manage your literature?

I would be very happy about your answers!

Kind regards

Niels
