Hello,

I teach both Nemeth and UEB Math at a non-profit VR training center. I might be able to answer your questions.

I prefer Nemeth because of its Efficiencies for conveying numbers versus variables. ' There are many places within the US where you can choose Nemeth or UEB Math. UEB Math has become a bit more utilized across the US, but many braille notetakers still use Nemeth.

I am willing to answer questions you may have and which route you want to take for learning Nemeth or UEB Math.

Regards,
Kaden

I can read both contracted, and I’m contracted braille.. my question is: should I learn Nemeth or UEB math? I definitely love to learn both, but I’d like to learn one of them fully before doing the other. Which one is the better one? Which one is more efficient, and which one is more common in the United States.?
