[BlindMath] Geometry course--MathML or LaTeX

Hi,
One of my students who is blind and a VoiceOver user will be taking a geometry course this fall.
The instructor will be typing her lecture notes into Microsoft Word. Should she use MathML or LaTex? Which is more accessible?
