Subject: [BlindMath] Mathematica
Hello all,
I apologize if this question has been asked before, but does anyone know if
Wolfram Mathematica can be made accessible with JAWS? If not, are there any
alternatives that I can use to work with matrices and manage data?
I am currently taking linear algebra, and some of our homework requires us
to use Mathematica. When I installed the desktop application on my PC, I
discovered that it seems to be almost entirely inaccessible with JAWS. Up to
this point, I have been using other programs that will perform specific
tasks that Mathematica can do, such as row-reduction, but there are some
tasks with which I still need sighted assistance. Consequently, I am looking
for a way to either use Mathematica accessibly or to perform the same tasks
with a different program. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Campbell Rutherford
