[BlindMath] BlindMath Digest, Vol 218, Issue 8

Curious if anyone has thoughts on editing conversion issues when running through MathPix?

The resulting document is about 95% accurate, but I need to make some modifications.

I’m assuming pulling that resulting document from MathPix into Word with MathType and then exporting from there is the best option? Or is there a way to modify recognition directly in MathPix?

Thanks in advance!

J

 >2. Browser/screen reader combos to read the accessible math?

Screen reader: NVDA prefered, but Jaws works as well.

Browser: Firefox prefered, but chrome works as well.

The use of MathJax in the browser paired with MathCat NVDA screen reader

addOn works well. I believe Jaws has similar funcionality built in.

For pdf conversions, convert to HTML+MathML, which then can be read with

nvda+mathCat, or jaws.

Other suggestions and approaches please ...

I'm looking for accessible software that works well to make genogram diagrams, but thought I'd open up my search a bit to flowcharting and diagramming software more generally. Anyone found any particular genograph, flowcharting, or other diagramming software to be accessible for creating and/or reading the diagrams?
