[BlindMath] Problems with LaTeX Math Imbedded in Markdown

Hello,
I am not converting the document into HTML. I am editing and previewing the document in real time using visual studio code. When the problem happens, it happens for the entire document.
It used to work before, but I don’t know why that’s happening.

Hello Dana,

You are bound to get more help if you tell us how the markdown is being turned into HTML.

Which conversion tool are you using?
What settings are being used in that conversion?
Is it creating MathML or are you going as far as using MathJax.
Is it a problem affecting an entire document or parts of a document?

Then, give us an example of the markdown which is not working.

Hello Blind Math,

I have been experiencing some inconsistencies with markdown documents containing imbedded LaTeX math.
When I try to preview the document, the math doesn't read every time.
I've tried restarting NVDA and VS Code, uninstalling and reuninstalling the Math cat add-on, etc, but there's an inconsistency; sometimes it'll read the math and other times it won't.
It's just very time-consuming to keep restarting apps every time. Any tips on how I can fix this?
