Dear all
APH is looking for teachers to evaluate and test Creacube, an
innovative electronic tool designed to make practicing basic math facts
engaging for kindergarten and early elementary school students. Creacube is
a handheld cube featuring numbers in both print and braille on its faces.
It presents students with random drill problems in pre-set difficulty
levels through audio prompts. Students respond by rotating the cube to find
and submit the correct answers, after which they receive encouraging
feedback.

In addition to enhancing math skills in addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division, Creacube introduces blind students to braille
numerals, fostering familiarity and confidence in using braille. This
versatile tool is an excellent supplement to classroom instruction, helping
students of all vision levels improve their math fact fluency in an
interactive and inclusive way.

Testing will begin in March 2025. If you are interested in testing
Creacube with your kindergarten or early elementary school students, please
fill out an application form at: https://forms.office.com/r/nBnfKf93jP

Basic knowledge of braille numerals is needed for blind students to use
this tool. You are also welcome to keep the tool after this field test. If
you have any questions, contact Li Zhou at lzhou at aph.org.

Thank you for your time and consideration!
