Hello,
I've received some interest over the past few days regarding the open
source Omniya Core project (https://github.com/ParkingSoman/omniya-core).
As a reminder, the long-term ambition is to explore what a unified
mathematical workspace could look like for blind mathematicians, one that
supports the full range of work sighted mathematicians do while providing
equally effective ways to read, write, organize, revise, and navigate
mathematics.

To accomplish this goal, designing the system from the ground up with the
broader community is a vastly better approach than building the system
first and asking blind users and professionals to test it. I already shared
a meeting link with those who stated interest in the project, but I wanted
to post it here as a last-minute call in case anyone else is interested:
meet.google.com/ixx-cqth-grv. The meeting starts today at 3 PM PST (6 PM
EST) and will last approximately 30 minutes to an hour. The objective of
this first meeting is to lay the groundwork for the workspace. All
interested parties are welcome, and no coding experience is required. I
hope to see you there!

Best,
Shonu Sengupta
Axiya
