My best advice is to make sure that the Slovak braille language is up to date in liblouis. Most braille software these days uses liblouis.

Subject: [BlindMath] seeking for advice
Dear listers,
I hope my e-mail finds you well.
I work as a head coordinator of the Braille Authority of Slovakia. In our country, for years, we are facing a problem with math and STEM studying. We have no really working framework of simultaneous function of computer with screenreader, good math software and braille display.
For some years, we are using Lambda software for our students, but the braille was never correctly implemented and since there is a Lambda 2, we are somewhat not sure now, if the implementation of braille code is a journey worth to go. Mostly because of costs of the software students can not afford in Slovakia, when counting with screen reader and braille display.
In our small country the situation is qute difficult, as we have very few braillists, but we recognize the importance of correct STEM education. Therefore we are now trying to find a functioning set-up for our studens. We are willing to invest effot into the implementations, testing, training. We just are not sure which way to go.
I would like to kindly ask you for any advice you can give us for math and STEM from elementary to university studies. My questions are:
1. Are there some good software examples used in your countries? Where the linear code can be easyly followed - e.g. structured in a tree view?
2. would you recommend to build up our future efforts on the MathML code?
3. Is there some working pipeline for transfering standard math to a readable MathML both with speech of screen reader and braille display?
4. Is it possible to implement other than UEB or Nemeth codes in such environments?
Any advice from you will be very highly appreciated here.
We are trying to do the best work for students, to equip them with the best possible solutions.
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
