Hello,
I wonder if you're making the request something harder than it needs to be.
First: Which editor are you using for the markdown files you write?
Second: The markdown you are used to can be turned into LaTeX and then converted to the format the requestor is demanding using Pandoc.
It is becoming less common to *require* use of LaTeX. Last time I was "required" to do so, I wrote my paper in markdown so that I could continue to convert to HTML so that I could read the outcome of my labours. I kept a copy of the template file that was required, but used a single \input{Godfrey} type statement to pull in the text as I had been editing it.
I believe I could find the right YAML to put in the top of a markdown file to have met the requirements too.

Subject: [BlindMath] Accessible LaTeX Editors
Dear Blind Math mailing list,
I hope all of you are doing well.
I was wondering if anyone knew of an accessible LaTeX editor? I know how to write embedded LaTeXatex equations within markdown documents, but I have to write my papers for a class in LaTeX. I have tried overleaf, and it wasn't very accessible, but that was around 3 years ago. Are there any tips or suggestions you guys would recommend? Thank you so much in.
Best,
Dana
