Hello all,

I'm a postdoctoral fellow at Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer
Interaction Institute, and I'm recruiting for an interview study on how
adults with disabilities use conversational AI assistants such as ChatGPT,
Claude, and Gemini in everyday life: what people choose to tell these
systems about themselves, and what they expect the system to do with that
information.

You may be eligible if you:

   - Are 18 or older and live in the United States
   - Identify as disabled or as having a chronic illness or chronic health
   condition
   - Either use an AI assistant at least twice a week, or used one that
often in the past and have since stopped or cut back. People who stepped
away from these tools are just as important to this study as people who use
   them daily.

Participation is one Zoom interview, 60 to 90 minutes, scheduled at a time
that works for you. Participants are compensated for their time.
Accommodations are arranged at no cost, including live captions or CART,
scheduled breaks, extra time or splitting the interview across two
sessions, materials that work with your screen reader, and the option to
answer in writing or in the Zoom chat.

To check your eligibility, the short screening form is here (about 3 to 5
minutes):

If you have any questions, write me at ataheri at cmu.edu. Please feel free to
share this with others who might be interested.

The study has been approved by the Carnegie Mellon University IRB, protocol
STUDY2026_00000228.

Thank you,
Atieh
