Thanks for your reply Dr. Godfrey,
I am still wondering why it would be hard to embed Nemeth code in R
graphics using LibLouis. Would you mind explaining more?
And, I would like to go with grade2 at this point instead, could you
please give me some ideas?
Many thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
JY

Hello
I'm sure the use of grade 2 braille is possible but I would have my doubts
about any math code being handled without some serious work to work out
which representation of math would be used as the medium for transfer. R
doesn't handle latex for example all that well.
So, for regular text I would say yes, but for anything heading towards
symbols etc. I suspect the answer is no.
If anyone wanted to have a go, I'd offer ideas but I suspect I'll have
little to offer.
Jonathan

Hi there,
Changing regular print font into braille font does not always give
satisfying results: you cannot use grade 2 nor Nemeth braille.
To make better graphic output in braille, I came to think of applying
LibLouis <http://liblouis.org/> to R.
Please share your thoughts about the possibility.
Many thanks.
