Hello,

Please tell us how you created the batch file. If you did it manually, then you will need to check the path to Rscript.exe is correctly specified. The command MakeBatch() in the BrailleR package makes one tailored to the script file.

If you had a file in your working directory called Practice.R, the BrailleR package loaded with library(BrailleR), and then issued the R command MakeBatch("Practice.R") you would end up with Practice.bat in your working directory alongside the Practice.R file.

This then gives you the opportunity to use Windows Explorer to just hit Enter on Practice.bat

The comments made by Henrik about using an explicit print() command are important to note.

Jonathan

Hi
Thanks for the reply but I think I am doing something wrong. I have
explained the process I have followed:

Path to my working directory is:
C:\users\dell\documents
When I clicked CMD as well as Commandline, the path already mentioned
was C:\users\dell
So I typed documents\practice.bat
JAWS read the entire line which was written in the file
'practice.bat'. However, there was an error 'file not found' as well
as no new file named 'myoutput.txt' was created.
But when I click the file 'practice.bat' in windows explorer, the
command is run and the new file is created with the name
'myoutput.txt' but it is a blank file.
Is it because my working directory and R directory are different.
My working directory is "c:\users\dell\documents"
My R path is "c:\program files\R\R-3.4.4\bin\i386\rterm.exe"

Sorry I am new in coding. Thats why I might be doing something wrong.
Please guide me to how to run the program using batch file.

Thanks and Regards
Rohit Saraf
