Hi,
You need to put JAWS into Jaws cursor mode before going up to see what happened.
The arrow keys are doing what they are supposed to do when in PC cursor mode which is what happens for sighted users.

The sooner you move to writing up your working a R markdown document the better, then the output will all be in an html document to read like any other webpage.

Subject: [BlindRUG] JAWS 16 compatibility with R version 3.5.1

Hi,

I am using JAWS 16 on a Windows 10 machine and R version 3.5.1 in the terminal view. For some reason my screen reader is reading out my inputs but not the outputs. With NVDA I hear the output but when I use the up arrow to try and review the output I only hear the input. I have resorted to using NVDA and the sink() command to conduct all my analyses in R. As NVDA is not my preferred screen reader, is there any possible solution to getting JAWS to read and allow me to review the output in the terminal.

Kind regards,
