Ron,
could you not simply save the text dirrections to a word or text file,
by coppying them and pasting them into the document?
Alternatively, you could always use google Maps, which I find are much
better anyway.
Next, I know that phone systems such as tellme, at least the last time
I checked, offer the same mapquest dirrections except over the phone.
It's slow, but a decent way of getting information when you're time
and access to a computer is limited.
finally, provided you have the money, you could purchase a GPS system
-- the system would provide you on-the-route information to the places
you are going.
