The way to solve a capcha is to hit alt-control-7
Wait for a minute and then it will announce to you when it has solved it and 
put it on your clip board ready for pasting. I find that I can't paste 
directly into the capcha field, it never has worked for me to do that. I, 
instead, paste it into notepad or some other word processor screen and then 
just manually type in those letters or numbers into the proper field.
