Kate:
What keys are you having trouble with or worried about? There are enough styles of keyboard that one must make one's own adjustments. But in general, just as in a touch-typing class before there were computer keyboards, on the top or number row, keys to the left of 1 and keys 1 through 5 are typed with the left hand, 6 and keys to the right of it are typed with the right hand. One types 1 with the pinky finger, 2 with the ring finger and so on with both 4 and 5 being typed with the left index finger. 6 and 7 are typed with the index finger of the right hand and after that, it's a mirror image of the left hand. Of course, regular typewriter keyboards didn't have "escape", "control", "alt" or "windows" keys; one just hits them with whichever hand and fingers are most convenient; obviously, the "applications" key is hit with the fingers of the right hand.
On the numeric keypad if one has one, third finger of the
rather hand goes on the 5 key and your fingers just fall into place.
All bets are off on laptop keyboards.
Just use common sense.
Mike

All I have been able to find thus far is flash media explanations of such things, which obviously is not blind friendly. I need something that is going to explain fingering for the entire keyboard, not just fingering for the letter keys.

I find that I can't paste directly into the capcha field, it never has worked for me to do that. I, instead, paste it into notepad or some other word processor screen and then just manually type in those letters or numbers into the proper fielddd> > you can look at all the ways to use webvisum through their help or tutorial page.Kate> From: djdrocks4ever at gmail.com> To: blindtlk at nfbnet.org> Date: Mon, 29 Dec 2008 09:29:54 comblejfjj> Subject: Re: [Bltlk] myspace question> > Use the Web Visum add on with Firefox.
