[Blindtlk] Inquiry

Hello sir. The first thing you need to do is find out how many quarters you
have worked under the definition of the Social Security Administration. At
some point you will most likely be able to move from trying to qualify for
supplemental security income to Social Security disability income. If you
qualify for this latter program, the earnings limit is significantly higher,
and your monthly check from the Social Security Administration will likewise
be higher. I don't know in what state you live, but certainly you should be
able to chat with the state president of the national Federation of the
blind in your area for assistance. If for some reason this can't happen, I'd
be delighted to help you as well. We can do this either by private e-mail or
by telephone.

Warmest regards,

Gary
