Hi Gerardo,

There's really no name for the behavior, its just much of society's view of
blind people and their capabilities.

 

Sometimes you change the person your close to, sometimes not.  The person
you can always change is yourself, though!  To do that, you have to make a
decision to change and then find the people to support you in it.

As the previous message said, training at a center is always good, it'll
teach you how to deal with the type of attitude and action that your mother
and others have.
