Ron, most people pull them rather than push.  The one I have wouldn't 
take a handle extension, really, but I suppose there exist models 
that could take one.  I just need to find the right one at the right 
price.

I know such extensions exist for luggage, so maybe what I want is to 
find one with a luggage handle.  Come to think of it, I might want 
the thing for my luggage.  *grin*
